Today's Service

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers that God has blessed us with!!

I just wanted to give a little praise report from our church service today. This morning Pastor Mark revealed the fact that for the last 3 years, Mt Paran has been working on a 'Memorial Garden' for children that have gone on to see Jesus "before their time". Cher and I were both in tears for much of the service, remembering our little Angel, Caitlyn that left us in Dec, 2006. The Memorial will feature a wall/board where plaques will be posted for these children. After church today, Cher and I went to see the little memorial and agreed that we'd purchase one of the plaques in honor of Caitlyn. We asked how to go about it and were ready to proceed tomorrow when someone was around to take our request.

This afternoon, our choir director called to check on us, and to say that an anonymous church member had requested to pay for a plaque for us to remember Caitlyn by. Again, Cher and I were both in tears. The love and prayers that have been shared with us throughout our ordeals have kept us going and have been ample evidence of God's wonderful presence, but as you can see, He just keeps on giving!! We're so blessed to be part of such a wonderful church, filled with God-filled people that love and care themselves, but also allow God to work through them in ways such as this.

Love,
Tom and Cher
